LifeTime Ignition recently mobilized to Nyhamna Gas Plant to service the Pellet Collector on their Pyrotechnical Ignition System.
Due to an old design issue, we installed a component to prevent pellets from falling out of the collector through the drain holes.
This issue is a known problem for older systems (pre-2016) and have been rectified for all new LTI supplied systems.
The fix was included as a part of the job of emptying the collector and disposal of used pellets - which is a service that LTI provides.
Although the Pellet Collectors have a great capacity (up to 2000 LP2000 pellets), the service and job of emptying them is easier to perform when the collector is less full - as the access sometimes can be challenging.
Normal Shut-Down interval is approx. 4 years - as for the installation on Nyhamna, having a service for the Pellet Collector was recommended every other shut-down (8 years apart) based on their usage.

LifeTime Ignition also provide annual service on all Pyrotechnical Ignition Systems where known wearing parts are replaced as well as performing checks and lubrication for our special items (magazine etc..).

LifeTime Ignition continues our small up-scale of our Service Departement.

We warmly welcome: Johannes Ytrearne to the LifeTime Ignition team.

Johannes will work as a Junior Engineer where he will aid to maintain our short response time and readiness, as well as working as a trainee in project engineering tasks contributing with our deliverables.
Johannes is the second of our two planned additions to the team, and we are looking forward to start training and broaden our personnel-base to secure the fast and professional service that we are proud of.
